Zoé’s bio

Communication Manager

I'm a practising psychologist and certified coach, and for the last 6 years I've been living in Geneva. I got my first Master's degree in Psychology outside of Europe, and now I'm working on my second MSc in the UK (University of Essex).

Before I started my psychology career, I worked as a travel journalist. I literally used to live on aeroplanes for almost 5 years in a row - I visited about 70 countries and had great experiences with people from all over the world. Most of all, I was interested in understanding the motives behind people's actions and the mechanisms of their thinking. So, I can say that the question which drives me always remains the same: “What is human consciousness?”

Now, I am about to start my Master's thesis on psychedelic-assisted therapy and altered states of consciousness. How did I decide to choose this exciting subject? Well, several years ago, my former university professor shared insights with me about innovative psychotherapy involving psychedelics. I was deeply surprised because I had always associated this topic with a strong stigma, however, being naturally curious, I decided to learn more…

Beyond my role as a psychologist, I also teach psychology in groups and occasionally host webinars on various topics such as Buddhism, meditation, and discussing the works of thinkers like Campbell or Gurdjieff. Consequently, the subject of psychedelics, with its intriguing blend of spirituality and neuropsychology, has become the most fascinating area for me to explore. As a part of the ALPS team, I want to expand the organisation's communication and build meaningful connections worldwide, bringing more awareness to the incredible field of psychedelic therapy from a scientific perspective
