ALPS covers 3 main sectors of activity.

All of equal importance, they bring out the multifaceted aims of the foundation.

Merged all together, they show interdependence and reciprocal support in a systemic fashion.

 

 Professional

The professional sector represents the drive of ALPS. It is our primary goal of ensuring a sustainable and open future in this new academic domain.

Education

The professional education sub-sector invites professionals to be able to profit from a variety of organized events on different topics and levels of expertise around psychedelics in different parts of the country :

Mediation

The professional mediation sub-sector links professionals together with students in the field of research and therapy :

 Community

The community sector represents the social participation of ALPS. We are offering support to local associations and connect individuals and institutions together.

Participation

The community participation sub-sector creates events for community members and for the general public to get a better awareness around psychedelics :

  • ALPS Conference - Swiss Psychedelic Academic Conference

  • ALPS Forum - Swiss internal federative gathering

  • ALPS Symposium - An internal event giving members the possibility to get a picture of the inner workings of ALPS

  • ALPS Student Conference - An university life event giving students a possibility to present their research

  • Events in collaboration with Universities and Institutions

Platform

The community platform sub-sector offers extended online information on psychedelics, informed by evidence-based research and therapy :

Action

The community action sub-sector can be called upon when a local entity (e.g. professional association) asks for help with specific tasks, to which ALPS can take the form of scientific advisory mediator or a supporter entity :

 Media

The media sector refers to the online presence as well as online promotion, journals and events advertisement.

Open Access Media

The open access media sub-sector includes information about ALPS, events and our blog (all available on this very website).

All the content created by ALPS will always be freely available on the internet for everyone, wether or not you donated something : the cost of Knowledge Creation should not be at the charge of the particular individual which is himself part of the distributed cognition process called “Humanity”.
