David Nutt is a distinguished Professor of Neuropsychpharmacology and head of The Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College. His research focuses on two main research themes: the use of psychedelics, such as psilocybin and LSD, in mental health care; and as tools to probe the brain’s basis of consciousness. His Findings have led to successful clinical trials of novel treatments for disorders such as treatment-resistant depression and addictions.
