Dr.Chris Letheby of the University of Western Australia presents the main arguments from his recent book The Philosophy of Psychedelics, where he defends the position that a traditional conception of psychedelics as agents of insight and spirituality can be reconciled with naturalism, the philosophical position that the natural world is all there is.
His arguments will be challenged by University of Fribourg PhD candidate Jason K. Day.
Online and in-person participation is possible.
Registration is required for participation. Contact Jason Day through email, using jason.day@unifr.ch.
The event is being organized by the Aesthetics and Ethics of Attention SNSF Research Project.
