David’s bio

Graphic Design coordinator

Only recently I understood that all my deepest passions had something in common: To understand what it means to be human. An explorer’s drive to discover a world, our inner world. On this journey, after taking a few courses in psychology and philosophy, reading more and more books about these matters (psychology, consciousness, psychedelics and all that beautiful stuff) and getting into meditation, I decided to venture more deeply into this by doing a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Today, I’m finishing my master’s degree in social psychology and social neuroscience. Nevertheless, I quickly realized that psychedelics are certainly the most powerful tool to explore our inner worlds and understand human consciousness.

Therefore, this exploration journey led me to found a student association dedicated to psychedelic research in Bern called PROBe (Psychedelic Research Organization of Bern). Getting deeper and deeper into this new territory, I met members of the ALPS team, visited the ALPS conference and then ended up being a graphic designer and later graphic design coordinator for ALPS.

As an explorer, I’m always curious where my journey will bring me next. The opportunity to be part of the ALPS team and actively work together towards a better understanding of these wonderful substances is more than I could have wished for, although I’m convinced that this is only the beginning…
