Amanda’s bio

Talent Management and Volunteer Coordinator

My interest in psychedelics started in Mexico, where I discovered Peyote and its ritual use. I then joined the student association ARP (Association pour la Recherche Psychédéliques de l'Université de Genève), and became a member of its committee.

Having always had a strong interest in unconventional and modern therapeutic means, psychedelic assisted therapy, as well as music therapy, both attracted my keen curiosity because of their healing potential that has not yet been fully revealed.

I am currently studying International Relations at the University of Geneva, with the goal of obtaining a conversion degree and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.

I hope, after completing my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, to move into the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, while pursuing music therapy in parallel, as a passion.

My role at ALPS is that of project manager and volunteer coordinator. I also participate in curating the ALPS blog.

I am very motivated to make psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy more accessible to those who need it.
