Abigail’s bio

Scientific Research Coordinator

Abigail Calder is the scientific research coordinator at ALPS and has been a doctoral researcher in medical neuroscience at the University of Freiburg, Switzerland since 2021. Her research revolves around the effects of the psychedelic substance LSD on neuroplasticity in healthy volunteers, which is assessed using stimulation-based methods. She is also interested in the study of adverse effects from psychedelics, as well as their impact on people’s personal values and well-being.

Her background includes a B.Sc. in psychology from Technical University Dresden and an M.Sc. in neuroscience from the University of Bonn.
